Visiting Korea and looking for a queer photographer who sees you?

Hi, I’m Nilo (she/her) a queer english-speaking photographer based in Seoul, specializing in creating authentic, safe, and joyful photo sessions for LGBTQI+ individuals, couples, and families. Whether you’re traveling solo, exploring Korea with your partner, or celebrating yourself after years of growth, I offer a space where you can truly be seen.

No filters. No judgment. Just you.

FEELING SAFE AND COMFORTABLE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA IS ESSENTIAL

I know how vulnerable it can feel to be in front of a camera. Add queerness, gender nonconformity, or cultural differences to the mix, and suddenly, what should be a fun experience can feel tense or performative. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

As a queer and trans-affirming photographer, I create sessions where your comfort comes first. I don’t just take your photo, I take time to get to know who you are, how you want to be seen, and what makes you feel grounded. I use gentle guidance and affirming language to make sure you’re not just posing for a moment but that you’re feeling good throughout the process.

NO COMPROMISES. JUST PHOTOS THAT CELEBRATE YOU.

Let's create the space where your joy, your tenderness, your power, and your love can all exist freely. Whether you dream of

Hanbok Session

There’s something quietly powerful about wearing a Hanbok, stepping into centuries of culture with your own story stitched in. These sessions usually take place at Seoul’s palaces or hidden gardens, where history and queerness meet in soft rebellion. I’ll guide you gently, making space for both playful poses and quiet moments. Whether you want to feel royal, romantic, or just deeply you this is your time to shine.

Casual Outdoor Session

Let’s wander. Maybe it’s by the Han River at golden hour, in a quiet alley of Ikseon-dong, or under cherry blossoms in full bloom. These sessions are light, free-flowing, and full of laughter. Come as you are, comfy clothes and all, and we’ll make something honest and beautiful together.

Studio Session

The studio is where intimacy meets stillness. Perfect for portraits that feel quiet, strong, or even a little wild. Whether you're celebrating a personal milestone, documenting your transition, or just feeling yourself in a new way, this space bends to meet your mood. I’ll create a vibe where you can relax, express, and be fully seen, no rush, no pressure, just soft light and real presence.
