ABOUT ME
I'm Nilo, a professional Seoul-based, English speaking photographer with over 10 years of experience. I work with tourists visiting Seoul, expat families, and couples ready to mark a milestone moment in Korea.
I specialize in secret proposal photoshoots, family portrait sessions and traditional Korean hanbok sessions across Seoul's most iconic locations – from Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village to private outdoor settings and cozy studio sessions.

My approach
My work starts long before our session. I scout locations in advance, study the light, and plan everything for you so that by the time you're down on one knee ready to propose, everything is perfectly planned! I'm already there, hidden, ready, and waiting for the moment to unfold. For secret proposal sessions, every detail matters. I'll help you choose the perfect location, advise on the best time of day for light and fewer crowds, suggest where to stand, which direction to face, and how to naturally guide your partner into position, without them suspecting a thing.
For hanbok and family sessions, that same preparation applies. I know Seoul's most beautiful and crowd-free spots, I'll guide you through every pose, and I speak English fluently, so nothing gets lost in translation. Ten years of experience means I can read a moment before it happens. And be ready when it does.

Leading up to the day of the photoshoot, Nilo went above and beyond for me because he went to the proposal location to take photos 1 week before as well as 1 day before the proposal date to show me the environment and the lighting. They provided instructions, a map, and even provided advice on where to go and how fast to go through the palace area to reach the destination when there would be smaller crowds of people.
The photoshoot itself felt very comfortable and felt very natural. Nilo provided advice and suggestions to creating different kinds of photos to add fun and silliness that captured our relationship.
